Resurfacing & Safety Improvements to Red Bank Avenue (CR 644) from Crown Point Road (SR 44) to Mehorter Boulevard This project is substantially complete with shoulder restoration and roadway signage to be completed, along with other punchlist. The daytime road closures will occur between 7 am and 5 pm. Residents will have access to their driveways from at least one side of the work zone each day. The road will be reopened at the end of each work day to through traffic. This work will require a daytime detour of (CR 623) Clems Run Road. On or about May 8, 2023, this work will begin. to perform milling and paving on Clems Run Road in Elk Township. The County of Gloucester has contracted Pierson Construction, Inc. Clems Run Road (CR 623) between Whig Lane (CR 619) and Hardingville / Richwood Road (CR 609) in the Township of Elk Please use caution while traveling through the work zone for both your protection and our workers. Work hours will be 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. ![]() ![]() The project will start on/about, July 19th, 2023 and is anticipated being completed in September. Emergency vehicles will be permitted through when required. Please be aware of the changing traffic control. Work will be performed utilizing lane closures and lane shifts.
